Hockwold Hall is an incredibly picturesque wedding venues. If you love lush green open spaces and old English country houses then this historic Norfolk estate will give you a very Bridgerton vibe.
As photographers we are always looking for light and shadow to create dramatic photos. I really love the way the light falls through windows and onto the house. Knowing the right times and places to capture the light can something be a challenge but it seems easy with Hockwold Hall.
My top 5 things about Hockwold Hall:
- The Ceremony room with its large windows floods the room with light. I also love the quirky wallpaper.
- The outside ceremony space with gazebo is perfect for summer weddings. The enclosed hedge row creates a stunning entrance and exit for your ceremony.
- The dance floor is a real show stopper. Hidden away, it is ready for the grand reveal of the first dance.
- The outside space is the real winner for this venue. All the way round there is picturesque opportunities, from the walled gardens with its impressive gates to the hidden corners of the garden with colour flora.
- The spaces lend themselves beautifully for people to mingle. It really helps for the candid shots through out the day, allowing for those real moments of groups laughing, hugging and fooling around.
As an exclusive wedding venue I love the fact you have everything on hand. From the Sandringham bridal suite and self catering kitchen to the Cellar and games room.
Hockwold Hall really takes the stress out of your day. Knowing that both sides of the wedding party can get ready onsite and everything is within a few minutes walk, you are in safe hands.
The Grande Marquee is one of the best looking marquees and seats up to 250 guests.
